Beijing, 27 August 2021 (TDI): The spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of National Defense, Tan Kefei, informed on 26 August 2021 that China is going to host a multinational military exercise next month, from 6 to 15 September. Over 1000 troops from China, Mongolia, Pakistan, and Thailand will join the exercise at the training base of the Armed forces of China in Queshan County.
The spokesperson said in the press conference that the exercise titled “Shared Destiny-2021” is China’s first multinational peacekeeping live exercise. The aim of this joint peacekeeping military exercise is the promotion of cooperation and capability among the participant forces. The armed joint exercise is the result of an initiative by the UN, Action for Peacekeeping (A4P).
