During the meeting, Xi Jinping reaffirmed China’s commitment to Iran’s national sovereignty and resistance to unilateralism.

Furthermore, Xi pledged to play an active and constructive role in negotiations to revive the Iranian agreement, underscoring China’s support for Iran.

During his turn, Raisi expressed Iran’s willingness to enhance communication and coordination with China on international affairs, to uphold global peace and stability.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Amir-Abdollahian, expressed gratitude for China’s solidarity and support. He noted that Iran will soon implement the cooperation plan, achieving effective results in interests of both countries.

The officials signed collaborative agreements in the fields of agriculture, healthcare, trade, and disaster relief. These will help to bolster the economic growth and development of both countries.

Notably, for over 40 years, Iran has faced its most challenging economic situation due to sanctions on its oil exports and petrochemical sales. To mitigate the effects of sanctions on Iran’s nuclear development, China has extended its support to Iran.

The China-Iran trade agreement is a big step forward in their relationship. It will help them work together in different areas, which is a win-win for the people of both countries.
