China sponsors new parliamentary building in Zimbabwe

Harare, 5 September 2021, (TDI): China has aided in the construction of a new parliamentary building in Zimbabwe fostering goodwill among both countries. President of African Development Bank, Akiwumi Adesina, considers massive Chinese investments in Africa in various sectors as an acceleration towards a modern and progressive continent. 

The developmental projects including BRI and other flagships which have recently included 5G digitalization of entrepreneurial and information technology sectors are a key development in the Sino-African relationship. 

Minister of foreign affairs and international trade Zimbabwe, Frederick Shava, appreciated the role of China in helping sustain Zimbabwe economically and diplomatically. In this regard, Chinese companies, Huawei and Alibaba, have recently endorsed the training of technical and business experts to enable them with the skills needed to reach out to the rest of the world.
