Beijing (TDI): The annual Central Economic Work Conference was held in Beijing from Wednesday to Thursday as Chinese leaders decided top priorities for the economic work in 2025.
President Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at the conference, according to Xinhua News Agency.
In his speech, Xi analyzed China’s economic work this year, reviewed the current economic situation and discussed next economic work for 2025.
It was noted at the meeting that the Chinese economy has showed generally stable performance while making substantial progress this year, with solid advances made in high-standard development and major annual targets and tasks of economic and social development to be successfully accomplished.
The development journey over the past year has been exemplary and the achievements have been encouraging, the meeting agreed.
It noted that a series of policies adopted by the CPC leadership in September have effectively bolstered social confidence and resulted in a remarkable rebound in the economy.
