Beijing, 13 November 2021 (TDI): China gifted Pakistan 100 000 Covid19 testing kits in its fight against the pandemic.
China has been assisting Pakistan in its fight against the Coronavirus since the start of the pandemic. China has provided hundreds of thousands of vaccines and medical supplies to Pakistan. In this regard, China also gifted a batch of 100 000 Covid19 testing kits and sample releaser buffers to Pakistan yesterday.

The ceremony was held at the Pakistani embassy in Beijing. Pakistani Ambassador to China Moin-ul-Haque participated in the event. Many Chinese senior officials including Ambassador Sha Zukang, Wang Longshe, and Wang Rui were also part of the ceremony.
Pakistani Ambassador thanked Chinese Government
Ambassador Moin-ul-Haque thanked the Chinese people and government for their continuous support in the pandemic. He emphasized that the anti-pandemic cooperation between iron-clad friends has further strengthened the relations of the two states. He said that the gift of the Covid19 testing kits will help Pakistan to deal with the Coronavirus efficiently. Pakistani Ambassador mentioned that Pakistan has received about 130 million doses of vaccines from China.
Li Xikui stated that China and Pakistan are all-weather friends. Therefore, China will continue to assist Pakistan against the pandemic. China will not leave its iron-clad brother alone in the pandemic.
Ambassador Sha Zukang stated that the two neighboring states have supported each other in the pandemic. Pakistan was one of the first countries to provide political and material support to China at the beginning of the outbreak of the pandemic, he added.
China and Pakistan enjoy friendly relations. They have stayed together in difficult times and have supported each other. The two states are commonly known as iron-clad friends. China has started China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Pakistan which aims to strengthen the economic development in Pakistan.
