Shenyang, 6 June 2022 (TDI): The National Event on Environment Day 2022 was held on Sunday in China. President of China, Xi Jinping, and the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Military Commission sent a congratulatory letter.
China has organized national events on the Environment Day annually. Ministry of Ecology and Environment organized the event on Environment Day 2022.
President of China, Xi Jinping expressed in the letter that the natural environment is the basis for human survival and development. To preserve the ecological environment is the collective responsibility of the people of all countries.
He stated that China has made ecological conservation so it is vital for maintaining the nation’s development. Likewise, major steps have been adopted toward building a beautiful China.
Chinese President, Xi Jinping, urged on the new journey to build a modern socialist country therefore the whole party and the entire nation must strengthen ecological conservation.
He said that all societies practice the ideas of ecological civilization through solid and hard work so it will create a beautiful homeland with blue skies, green lands, and clean waters.
Chinese Vice Premier Han Zheng, read Chinese President Xi’s congratulatory letter and delivered a speech. He stated that the earth is the only home for mankind therefore it is the common responsibility of all humans to make a clean and beautiful world.
The main agenda is ecological progress as well as China’s efforts to promote ecological and environmental protection. This can be done firstly by preventing and controlling pollution.
Secondly, public awareness of ecological conservation should be raised. Thirdly, promoting high-quality economic development through high-standard environmental protection.
Ways to keep Environment clean & safe
During the event, ways were pointed out to keep the environment safe as well as clean for a better and safer future. Some of them are as follows:
- Reducing carbon dioxide emissions
- Ensuring energy
- Food security
- Maintaining secure industrial and supply chains
- Maintaining global ecological progress
- Actively promoting sustainable development across the world
It was surmised that these practices of ecological civilization will benefit people in China as well as across the entire world.
