Beijing, 29 October 2021 (TDI): China hosted the multilateral conference on Asian Dialogue for Cultural Heritage. The conference took place from 27 October 2021 to 28 October 2021 in Beijing.
China and 36 other Asian states including Pakistan, Iran, Cambodia, Armenia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen among others participated in the conference.
They initiated an alliance for cultural heritage conservation in Asia. The countries participating in the conference agreed to carry forward Asian cultural heritage.

Mission of the Conference
The Asian Dialogue for Cultural Heritage Conservation aims to enhance cooperation between Asian countries. It provides them new channels for cooperation on shared values. It will create the spirit of the Asian fraternity.
The dialogue also aims to enhance the cultural exchanges between the Asian countries. This will provide a chance for Asian youth to learn about Asian civilizations. The conference ended on Thursday, 28 October 2021 with the establishment of funds to support Cultural Heritage Conservation. The fund aims to protect the endangered ancient sites of Asia.
Pakistan congratulated China
Pakistan also participated in the conference. Pakistani Ambassador to China Moin-ul-Haque congratulated China for hosting a successful dialogue on Asian Cultural Heritage Conservation.
He appreciated the role of China in uniting the Asian nations and promoting the ancient civilizations of Asia. The ambassador further stated that the dialogue will help to enhance the cooperation between the Asian states.
The dialogue was organized by the China Administration of Cultural Heritage Conservation and the government of Beijing Municipality.
The idea of this conference was proposed by the Chinese President Xi Jinping in the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations in Beijing in May 2019. The dialogue will help to enhance cooperation between the Asian states leading to a peaceful region.
