Iran to resume Nuclear Talks

The Islamic Republic of Iran has decided to resume the Vienna negotiations after months of deadlock. The Biden Administration which replaced Donald Trump gave signs to resume the talks. Iran announced its return to the talks after hosting the conference of Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries. The dialogue will resume before the end of November of the ongoing year.

China welcomes Iranian decision

China appreciated the Iranian return to the talks as China believes in diplomacy and multilateralism. Chinese Foreign Secretary spokesperson Wang Wenbin said that the Iranian return to talks is in the common interests of the international community. He further stated that the Vienna negotiations will help to promote peace and stability in the region. The spokesperson further said in the press conference that China appreciates the Iranian invitation for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief’s visit. He also urged the United States (US) to create a favorable atmosphere for the talks by abandoning its policy of maximizing pressure on Iran.

Chinese Foreign Secretary Spokesperson added that China will continue to push the parties involved in the talks for a diplomatic settlement. China is committed to its policy of multilateralism to create a global community on shared interests. Therefore, it will continue to promote dialogue and diplomacy to create peace and prosperity in the world.
