Important topics concerning internet growth and connectivity in Pakistan and the Asia-Pacific area as a whole were the focus of the conversation.
The gathering provided a forum for insightful discussion on the importance of internet access in the modern world and emphasized the need to bring this necessary service to Pakistan’s rural regions, especially Baluchistan.
Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani emphasized the need for developing the IT infrastructure as a key factor in the advancement of the country.
He stated that in order to promote innovation and economic expansion, it is imperative to prepare young people with IT-related skills.
In his remarks, Chairman Senate emphasized the importance of connection as a necessary component of contemporary economies, emphasizing its role in socioeconomic growth and community empowerment.
He acknowledged the organization’s dedication to closing the digital divide and applauded APNIC’s ceaseless efforts to improve connectivity in Pakistan.
The Chairman Senate emphasized that Pakistan is presently deploying the 5G Spectrum and expressed optimism that this major development will greatly aid in producing the much-needed economic activity in the country.

Earlier, 6 members of the delegation, led by the President of the Rwandan Senate, Dr. François Xavier Kalinda, had observed Senate business, on October 30.
The Senate Chairman welcomed the Rwandan delegation warmly upon their arrival and underlined the necessity of fortifying international relations as well as the relevance of the visit.
The passionate welcome and round of applause that Pakistani Senate members gave their Rwandan colleagues during their meeting served as a signal of the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries.

Together with the Rwandan delegation, Dr. François Xavier Kalinda actively witnessed the present Senate session, which focused on the current state of affairs in Gaza and Palestine.
