Beijing: 1 July 2021 (TDI) : A grand gathering was held at Tiananmen Square on Thursday to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China.
The President of China and the General Secretary of the CPC, Mr. Xi Jinping, stepped to the Tiananmen Rostrum and the Premier of the country Mr. Li Keqiang began the ceremony.

There was aerial activity as well; Military aircraft flew over Tian’anmen Square in rank orders and helicopters flew to form a 100. A 100-gun salute was fired. A national flag-raising ceremony was held.
The representatives of the Chinese Communist Youth League members and Young Pioneers saluted the CPC and affirmed their dedication and commitment to the Party’s cause.

Eight other political parties sent a joint message to congratulate the CPC. At the ceremony, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and personages without party affiliation were also read.
