Islamabad (TDI): Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal announced on Tuesday that all meetings of the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) will be conducted digitally.
He made these remarks while chairing the paperless meeting of the CDWP in Islamabad.
He further instructed all members to attend the next meetings with their laptops to ensure an efficient and organized approach.
“We are committed to promoting a paperless environment. This shift is a positive development towards national progress and modernization,” the minister said.

Iqbal said that environmental protection is the government’s top priority, and paperless initiatives are essential for sustainable and eco-friendly growth.
He further revealed that the Ministry of Planning was being transitioned entirely to digitization, an initiative critical for enhancing government performance and fostering transparency.

“Digitization will not only reduce paper usage but also enable timely and effective monitoring of government projects,” he noted.
He added that the move was in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of building a modern and digitized Pakistan, which will pave the way for significant advancements.
