Phnom Phen, 14 September 2021 (TDI): The Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Veng Sakhon emphasized boosting the export of agricultural products to China in the 7th ASEAN-China ministerial meeting on phytosanitary cooperation.
China and Cambodia have been engaged in trade diplomacy since the start of their diplomatic relations and this boost will surely fortify the bilateral relations.
The number of items for exports has been increased by adding longan, durian, and bird nests as potential products for export.
It is pertinent to note here that recently Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has visited ASEAN countries and has called for increased investment in ASEAN for progress.
China’s endeavors in trade diplomacy and the creation of interdependence have been recognized by all the ASEAN countries.
