Cambodia and the US Commemorate Bilateral Military Cooperation


Phnom Penh, 11 September 2021 (TDI): Cambodia and the United States of America have praised and pledged to strengthen their defence ties in the interests of both countries.

Yesterday, Gen. Hun Manet, Deputy Commander-In-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) and Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army, and W. Patrick Murphy, US Ambassador to Cambodia, as well as Col. Jacky Ly, the new Defence Attache (DA) at the US Embassy, expressed their gratitude.

W. Patrick Murphy also praised the Royal Government’s just COVID-19 vaccination policy, which has so far reached more than 90 percent of the target population.

In order to promote Cambodia’s public health, Ambassador emphasized the importance of maintaining bilateral military ties as well as comprehensive cooperation.
