Islamabad: August 05, 2021- (TDI): Bulgaria joined hands with the Monsoon Plantation Campaign 2021 of Pakistan. They started planted different trees at the Bulgarian Embassy Compound in Islamabad. This campaign was initiated by PM Imran Khan as part of the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami.
This countrywide project will encourage the masses to fully participate in the tree plantation campaign aimed at tackling climate change and environmental challenges. The target set was the plantation of 502.5 million plants for the monsoon season of 2021. By planting trees and plants, we can help recover our forests and improve environmental degradation.
The purpose of this drive is to unite our efforts to fight climate change and create a green and clean environment for all. As climate change is a serious threat faced by the whole world and continued efforts are made in tackling the situation.
