Islamabad (TDI): The British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott hosted a reception to honour the management of both the Pakistan and England cricket teams.
During the event, the manager of the Pakistan cricket team Naveed Akram Cheema presented a shirt signed by the Pakistan team captain as a gift to High Commissioner Marriott.
Speaking at the event, Jane Marriott wished luck to both teams for the upcoming third and deciding Test match in Rawalpindi.

“I was hoping England would win the second Test, but I am happy with Pakistan’s victory,” Marriott said, adding that she looks forward to witnessing a competitive match in the third Test.
“The Pakistan-England Test series has reached an exciting point,” she concluded.
The third and final Test of the three-match Test series is starting tomorrow (Thursday) at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The series is levelled 1-1 with England winning the first Test by an innings and 47 runs, while Pakistan secured the second with a margin of 152 runs.
Both sides have also announced their playing XIs for the Rawalpindi Test with Pakistan going unchanged, and England recalling Rehan Ahmed in place of Brydon Cars.
