New York, 25 September 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil Carlos França met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Same Shoukry, on the sidelines of the 76th General Assembly session of the United Nations, on 24 September.
The Ministers discussed prospects for diversification and an increase in bilateral trade and air connection between Cairo and Sao Paulo. França also stated that Egypt is Brazil’s principal trade partner in Africa and one of the largest Arab partners. The Ministers also exchanged perspectives regarding regional and international relevance to the multilateral agenda of peace and security.
