Biden to Host the First in-Person QUAD Summit at the White House.

Washington, 15 September 2021 (TDI): US President  Joseph R. Biden is planning to host the first-ever in-person Quad Summit at the White House, Washington. The high-profile Summit is scheduled for 24 September 2021.

In a Press release by Press Secretary Jen Psaki, It has been conveyed that President Biden is looking forward to welcoming the Prime Ministers of Australia Scott Morrison, Prime Minister of Japan Yoshihide Suga, and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at the White House.

Press Secretary also reported that the Biden Administration has prioritized Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (QUAD).  This first-ever in-person meeting among QUAD leaders in the USA demonstrates that the US administration’s priorities lie in engaging in the Indo-Pacific region.

Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated that the QUAD leaders will be focusing on increasing cooperation in various areas such as Covid-19, Climate Change, cyberspace, emerging technologies, and free and open Indo-Pacific.
