Biden Rejects Israeli Strike on Iran Nukes

Washington (TDI): President Joe Biden has said that he would not support an Israeli strike intended to target Iran’s nuclear sites in response to a recent ballistic missile attack from Tehran.

When asked about backing such strikes, the US president firmly replied, “The answer is no.”

He emphasized that while Israel has the right to respond, it should do so in a proportional manner.

The White House condemned Iran’s missile attack on Israel and announced that the United States and G7 nations are considering new sanctions against Tehran.

Biden held discussions with G7 leaders to coordinate a response to the “unacceptable” missile strike.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, whose country holds the G7 presidency this year, convened a meeting to address the escalating tensions following Iran’s missile barrage, which has raised concerns about a broader regional conflict.

G7 leaders expressed their commitment to diplomatic solutions to de-escalate the situation.

He accused Israel of spreading insecurity and called on the U.S. and European nations to urge Israel to halt its aggressive actions.

As tensions mount, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has indicated that Israel is considering significant strikes on Iranian oil refineries and strategic sites as retaliation.

Netanyahu convened a security cabinet meeting to discuss potential military actions and affirmed Israel’s resolve to defend itself against threats.

Following the missile attacks, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced an increase in military presence in southern Lebanon and reported direct clashes with Hezbollah fighters, with airstrikes targeting locations in Beirut.
