Bahrain receives congratulations on success of Formula 1 Grand Prix

Manama, 7 March 2023 (TDI): The King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received cables of congratulations on the success of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2023, from senior officials.

The officials hailed the great achievement of Bahrain in organizing and managing the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2023. This success is regarded as the consolidation of the Kingdom’s strategy toward economic and cultural gains.

Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa also sent a cable of congratulations to Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the success of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2022 in its new edition.

Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praised the efforts of Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the management team that worked hard to ensure the success of the global sporting event in order to maintain its international standing.

The success of the championship reflects Bahrain’s standing and good reputation, despite the challenges, and the regulations required on health protocols. This is a move considered a step towards cultural accommodation.

He also showed an affirmative approach towards continuing these kinds of events in the future in order to attain more achievements.

In return, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also cabled Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the success of the event. He attributed this success to the efforts of the office of the Kingdom. He also appreciated the efforts of managing teams and congratulated them.

Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2023, began on 5th March 2023 at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain.

The Bahrain International Circuit hosting Formula One races since 2004, and Bahrain was the first circuit in the Middle East to host the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

In the recent season of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, Oscar Piastri, Nyck de Vries, and Logan Sargeant made debut entries along with McLaren, AlphaTauri, and Williams.
