Australia provides humanitarian support to Afghani evacuees

Canberra, 26 August 2021 (TDI): Australia has aided the evacuation process for almost 4,000 people belonging to Kabul and has provided refuge to over 600 evacuees on Australian grounds, so far. Australia has committed itself to aid civilians who have fallen victims to the governmental power struggle in Afghanistan. It continues to coordinate with partners and allies in Afghanistan to help evacuate the vulnerable and displaced people. The Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its dedication to provide its support and refuge to the Afghani victims.
