Manila, 21 October 2021 (TDI): Australia provided 100 more oxygen concentrators to Philippines, today. Australia has remained very consistent in support to Pacific countries to tackle Covid-19 pandemic.
Australian Ambassador to Philippine, Steven J. Robinson handed over the 100 oxygen concentrators to the Department of Health of Philippines. Secretary of Department of Health of Philippines, Francisco T. Duque was their to receive the concentrators from Australian Ambassador.
Steven Robinson stated that the aid was provided on the request of Australian Foreign Affairs Secretary, Teodoro Locsin Jr. in a meeting with the Foreign Minister, Marise Payne.
The Ambassador shared the pictures of the event on Twitter.

This was the second lot donated to Philippines from Australia. Previously, Australia provided 100 oxygen concentrators to Philippines earlier, making the total donation of this critical medical equipment to 200.
