Hong Kong (TDI): Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb met with Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) Chief Executive John K C Lee in his office on Tuesday.
The two dignitaries discussed ways to strengthen bilateral collaboration between Pakistan and Hong Kong, according to a press statement.
“Minister Aurangzeb and Chief Executive Lee discussed various topics, including economic collaboration, trade relations, investment opportunities, and cultural exchanges between the two nations,” a statement from the Ministry of Finance read.

On the occasion, Senator Aurangzeb called for strengthening economic and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The minister noted opportunities for cooperation in finance, technology, and tourism.
Chief Executive John K C Lee welcomed Minister Aurangzeb in Hong Kong and expressed his desire for greater cooperation between Pakistan and Hong Kong.

He said the two countries could work together to boost economic growth, innovation, and cultural exchange for mutual benefit.
The meeting was also attended by Pakistan’s Ambassador in Beijing Khaleel Hashmi, and Consul General in Hong Kong Riaz Ahmed Shaikh.
