Aurangzeb Briefs UK on Indian Aggression Against Pakistan

London (TDI): Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb met with Hamish Falconer, UK Minister of State for South Asia, to brief him on India’s unprovoked and blatant attacks on civilian population in Pakistan, which martyred 26 civilians and injured 46 others, including women and children.

He reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to defend its territorial sovereignty and respond to India’s attacks in a befitting manner.

The Finance Minister recalled that Islamabad had made multiple offers to New Delhi to join a neutral and independent probe into the Pahalgam incident, including through the UK’s good offices. However, India rebuffed Pakistan’s offer and committed blatant aggression against Pakistan.

The Minister urged the global community to condemn India’s aggression and highlighted the significance of a just solution to the Kashmir dispute for the ebduring peace and stability in South Asia.

Minister Falconer expressed his condolences over the loss of civilian lives in the Indian airstrikes and hoped that tensions in the region would be de-escalated through dialogue and engagement.
