Washington, DC, 14 October 2021(TDI): Riya William Yuyada, South Sudan Women’s Rights Activist and Executive Director of Crown the Women, wins the Ginetta Sagan Award by Amnesty International.
Ginetta Sagan Award comes with a fund of $20,000 which aims at recognizing and assisting the winner in her work.

Crown the Woman is a feminist organization that advocates for women’s right. This organization also speaks out against any form of violation on women.
Riya William Yuyada was honored for her dedications to women’s safety, equality, and empowerment.
South Sudan’s activist was chosen one of the three Amnesty International award winners.
