Washington, 25 March 2022 (TDI): America mourns Madeleine Albright as she passed away on 23rd March 2022. She was the former Secretary of State for the United States (US).
She served from 1997 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton’s administration and was the first lady Secretary of State in the United States’ history.
She was a refugee in America by the age of 11, moreover, her family fled their homeland Czechoslovakia. The Nazis had invaded it during World War 2. Present Vice President, Kamala Harrison, gave her remarks at the passing of Madeleine Albright.
“I remembered her as a brilliant diplomat, a courageous mentor, and as a true visionary. She devoted her entire life to the United States and its safety from all the threats.”
The world lost a brilliant and beloved leader today. Madeleine Albright gave so much of her life to public service—always with intelligence, strength, and conviction. Secretary Albright was a mentor and a friend. I will miss her. pic.twitter.com/o77CjDSqPV

Her life and achievements
She also created a coalition of countries that defended the democratic values known as the Community of Democracies. Similarly, because of Albright’s efforts, states like Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary are members of NATO.
During her time, the United States defended the ethnic Albanians in Kosovo against Serbian aggression. In her memory, a statue and street in Kosovo are named in her honor.
She served as the 65th Secretary of State, and when she was nominated for the position, she faced a lot of resistance. As a woman, men constantly questioned her work and criteria.
But Madam Secretary proved everyone wrong with her spontaneous actions, and strength, which proved fruitful for the United States. After retiring from her position, Madam Secretary mentored and invested herself in educating future diplomats.
She has guided an entire generation of diplomats and national security experts. She wanted the United States of America’s future to be bright and secure through the upcoming leaders, analysts, and diplomats.
Her entire life was orbited around the preservation of the US nation’s values. Whenever inquired about her work and former post, all she replied was “I miss it every day.” She loved her country. She loved her Department.
