Moscow, 2 September 2021 (TDI): Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui penned down an article in Moscow’s newspaper titled “Research into the origin of the coronavirus is not subject to political manipulation”, published on 1st September. The Ambassador was of the view that the perception about the virus that it is China’s biological weapon, is delusionary. Because China itself has been acutely affected by Covid-19.
Further, he wrote down that according to scientific research, indeed the virus was first known at Wuhan but it was originated in other places of the world. In this regard, the Ambassador told the reader that many countries and independent think tanks have sent letters to the World Health Organization (WHO) to conduct an objective and impartial investigation on the origin of Covid-19.
In the last, he pressed on the bilateral cooperation between Russia and China in the field of science. He also mentioned that both states in unison are working to promote objective research based on reality.
