Doha, 18 November 2021 (TDI): The President of the Republic of Hungary, Janos Ader, met the Ambassador of Qatar, Abdullah bin Falah Al Dossari. The President of the Republic of Hungary received the credentials of the extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Hungary.
QATAR-HUNGARY DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS
Both discussed the external and internal matters in the meeting. Qatar and Hungary established diplomatic relations in 1990, on the level of non-resident embassies.
Strategically, the consideration of Hungary toward Qatar is developing, particularly after its association of numerous meetings and worldwide discussions. On the economic means, there effectively sought after from Hungary to lift the speed of monetary relations with Qatar in the field of energy, interest in Hungary, the structure of framework activities, and water treatment in the State of Qatar.
The Bilateral relations between the Republic of Hungry and the State of Qatar are so crucial in various fields such as economic, political, military, and investment banking. The Republic of Hungary and the state of Qatar signed the agreement of cooperation in the Field of Air Transport. Qatar and The Republic of Hungary signed a tourism agreement.
The bilateral relations between the two states on the memorandum of understanding on Political Consultations between the both Foreign Offices. Moreover, the states of the bilateral cooperation Memorandum of understanding on Cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Furthermore, there are bilateral agreements of declaration of principles to establish resident embassies in Qatar and Hungary. The bilateral agreement is the declaration of Principles for Mutual Establishment of Resident Embassies in Qatar and Hungary. Qatar opened an Embassy in Budapest, in 2004.
The relations have been going powerful every day on the Joint Declaration for Cooperation in the Field of Sports. The President of the Republic of Hungary wished the Ambassador of Qatar good health and also wealth in the future.
