Brussels, 27 October 2023 (TDI): Amna Baloch, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, presented her credentials to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg in a dignified ceremony, on October 26.
Conveying the warm greetings of the leadership of Pakistan, the Ambassador expressed her resolve to continue efforts for further enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
In addition, the Ambassador also met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg, Ambassador Jean Olinger.
During the interaction, both sides discussed pathways for deepening engagement between Pakistan and Luxembourg.
Patrick Nickels, Director General for Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion at the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy was also present during the discussion.
The Ambassador also hosted a networking activity which was attended by representatives of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, National Research Fund, and CEO of ExoAtlet to discuss innovation linkages and trade partnerships.
The Embassy hosted a meet and greet activity for the Pakistani community in Luxembourg, to discuss possibilities and opportunities for enhancing Pakistan’s footprint in Luxembourg.
Previously, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Belgium Amna Baloch, and French Ambassador Francois Sénémaud met in Brussels and agreed to strengthen bilateral relations in diverse areas, on October 24.
Both sides exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments and agreed to strengthen cooperation in Brussels across areas of mutual interest.
Moreover, she also called on the Ambassador of Maldives in Belgium, Omar Abdul Razzak in Brussels and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties between their countries.

Both the Ambassadors enhanced people-to-people contacts and reaffirmed their commitment to continue collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
