Washington (TDI): Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, warmly received Consul General Tariq Karim for a farewell call as the latter prepares to embark on his new diplomatic role as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Myanmar.
The meeting was held in Washington, where Ambassador Sheikh took the opportunity to commend Consul General Karim for his dedicated and exemplary service during his tenure in the United States, as Pakistan’s Consul General in Chicago.
Karim’s contributions were especially noted in strengthening Pakistan’s ties with the Pakistani-American community in the US Midwest region, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing bilateral relations and community engagement.
