African Union set to participate in Dubai Expo 2020

African Union:29 June 2021(TDI):  For the first time in the history of 170 years of world Expos, the African Union and every African nation will participate in the upcoming Expo 2020 Dubai. More than 190 countries are participating in this global event. The theme of the expo is “Connecting Minds, Creating the future”

All the African countries have dedicated pavilions in the Dubai Expo. The Expo is starting from 1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022.

The Expo was postponed due to COVID-19 and was scheduled for 2020.

For the period of six months, the African Union will create opportunities for the key stakeholders to engage and share their ideas for the future. This event will help to address continental challenges and also highlight the investment opportunities that exist today and in the future.

Moreover, it will be a great chance for African nations to connect people from around the globe and experience different cultures, cuisines, arts, and music.

The expo will run for 6 months and is the first global exhibition to be held in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asian region.
