Afghans Arriving in the U.S. Receive Help

-

Washington, 2 September 2021 (TDI):  US Department of State released that hundreds of federal, state, contractor personnel, and non-governmental organizations work every day to provide Afghans, arriving in the United States, food and a safe place to rest on their route to final processing facilities. United States Department of State spokesman Edward Price expressed his gratitude for the tireless efforts which US officials are making for Afghans.

On Tuesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that all US soldiers had left Afghanistan. The United States’ engagement in Afghanistan has entered a new era. The active engagement will be only through a channel of diplomacy. The United States will continue to offer humanitarian aid to the Afghan people. It will not be channeled via the government, but rather through independent organizations such as UN agencies and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
