Afghanistan has now got independence, says Taliban


Kabul, 31 August 2021 (TDI): Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated that they have gained control of the Kabul Airport following complete withdrawal of the US forces.

The United States has completed its departure from Afghanistan, bringing an end to the country’s 20-year invasion. At Hamid Karzai Airport, the Taliban’s representative briefed the media that their country has now got independence. He went on to say that USA has failed to achieve its goals in Afghanistan and now it is a sovereign state.

He ensured the media that Taliban are trying to establish diplomatic relations with western countries and the rest of the world.
