Riyadh, 8 February 2022 (TDI): KSA Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, received the Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Yael Lambert.

During the meeting, they reviewed the strategic and historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America. 

Nonetheless, the ways to strengthen them in all fields of cooperation and joint coordination. In addition, they discussed many regional and international issues. Foremost of which is enhancing security and stability in the Middle East region. 

As well as the efforts to establish the foundations of peace made by the two friendly countries in the region and the world. 

During the meeting, they discussed joint efforts to combat terrorism and extremism in all its forms and manifestations. 

Nevertheless, they discussed the joint efforts on stopping the violations of the Houthi terrorist militia against the Yemeni people. Especially, they both conquered the militia disruption to reach a political solution and development in Yemen. 

Saudi Princess Rima bint Bandar bin Sultan, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America attended the meeting. Besides, the American side Chargé D’affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America to the Kingdom, Martina Strong.

Acting Assistant Secretary Lempert also met with KSA Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir to discuss regional issues.

They discussed the Lebanese situation. They also address cooperation strategies to strengthen multilateral efforts for a peaceful, diplomatic solution to the conflict in Yemen.

Third visit Important Details

Finally, Yael Lempert met with GCC Secretary-General Nayef Al-Hajraf as well. There were discussions about security cooperation. Nonetheless, efforts to build a more peaceful, stable, prosperous future for all countries in the Gulf region.
