40,000 trips through China-Europe Freight train Service

Islamabad: 20 June 2021-(TDI):  The newly launched China-Europe Freight train service-connected the Russian Capital of Moscow and Luzhou city in South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The freight service has recorded over 40,000 trips up till now. The China Europe freight train has also transported the goods during these trips. According to the official statement, the transported products were valued at over 200 billion US dollars. The route is an important part of the BRI which helps China to boost its economy by increasing trade between China and western countries. The train service has spread to 160 different cities in 20 different states of Europe. During Covid-19 Pandemic when all the sea routes and flights were obstructed, the freight train proved to be a solid choice in worldwide coordinations much appreciated for its security, soundness, and proficiency. Anti-pandemic supplies from China to different states were sent through this route. This freight train route is the first-way service connecting China directly with Europe.
