123rd Founding Anniversary of the Philippines Department of Foreign Affairs

June 24, 2021- (TDI): On 23 June 2021, the Philippines celebrated the 123rd anniversary of the creation of its Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

11 days after the declaration of independence, of the Republic of Philippines, 12^th June 1898, the DFA was set up under the administration of President Emilio Aguinaldo on 23^rd June 1898. The DFA of the Philippines along with its Consular offices, Foreign Service Posts, and its employees commemorated its 123^rd anniversary since its founding and reiterated its commitment to serve the best interests of Filipinos whenever and wherever needed.
