Lahore, 6 September 2021 (TDI): The Provincial Minister For Primary & Secondary Healthcare Yasmin Rashid, in a meeting on COVID-19, praised China for the actions it has taken to prevent and reduce the pandemic and called China a global role model in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
After the break out of the global pandemic, China was the first country to share variables of the virus, so that states could lead the fight on their own. China has also adopted a policy of “Zero COVID” which resulted in zero locally transmitted cases of COVID at the end of August this year. Furthermore, about two weeks ago, to prevent the recent epidemic flare-up, China has decided that after completing the immunity process the people who work at COVID high-risk areas can have an immunity booster after six months.
