London, 9 September 2022 (TDI): International community offered condolences to the Royal Family on the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen died on the 8th of September 2022 after living a rich life of 96 years. After the official announcement of this news by the Royal Family, a series of messages started from all over the world expressing solidarity.

The UN Secretary-General, António Guterres condoled the Royal Family and expressed his feelings of immense sadness on the death of the Monarch.
António Guterres also expressed his admiration for the Queen and her unwavering dedication, leadership, and devotion. “She was a good friend to the UN and a reassuring presence through decades of change.”
