WHO supports the National Strategy for Vaccine Production in Pakistan

Islamabad, 31 August (TDI): WHO on 31st August conducted a meeting in the home Office of Pakistan.

The Meeting included the Drug Regulatory body of Pakistan along with the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination as well as National Vaccine Manufacturers. The meeting was conducted in the WHO Country Office located in Islamabad.

Dr. Palitha Mahipala, WHO representative in Pakistan was also part of the meeting.

The main agenda of the meeting was to strategize a national plan.

The plan was meant to maneuver vaccine production of Covid-19 on the National Scale. Dr. Palitha Mahipala reaffirmed in the meeting of WHO’s unwavering support. The Official reaffirmed the DRAP and Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination for WHO contribution for the Covid Vaccine production in Pakistan.
