The Diplomatic insight group is all set to host the 7th Global Ambassadors award on 26th November 2025, in Islamabad.
This event is a key platform for recognizing the dedicated efforts of international ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions, leaders of international organizations, and influential business figures. The awards specifically honor those who have made significant contributions to strengthening Pakistan’s bilateral relations, enhancing its global image, and advancing its economic and trade interests on the world stage.

To comprehensively honor the various dimensions of international engagement, the Global Ambassador Awards are presented across several distinct categories:
Diplomatic Excellence: To honor ambassadors who excel in strengthening political ties and fostering high-level dialogue and mutual trust with Pakistan.
Economic and Trade Partnership: Recognizes diplomats and business leaders for breaking down trade barriers, promoting investment, and creating mutual economic opportunities
International Cooperation and Development: To award heads of international organizations for leading impactful projects in development, humanitarian aid, and technical sectors within Pakistan.
Business Leadership and Investment: To celebrate CEOs and investors whose capital, technology, and job creation demonstrate a strong commitment to Pakistan’s economic potential.
The Global Ambassador Awards have a rich history of celebrating key partners. A look at previous editions illustrates the event’s significance and scope.
The 6th Edition in 2024 was graced by Chief Guest Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Head of the Prime Minister’s Performance Delivery Unit (PMDU). The ceremony honored a wide array of participants including the Ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, and Nepal.
Officials from major international bodies like USAID and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), as well as diplomatic representatives from Indonesia and Palestine, were also recognized, alongside prominent academics. This diversity highlighted the event’s commitment to multi-faceted international engagement.
For the 5th Edition in 2022, the Chief Guest was Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmood, then Federal Minister for State and Frontier Regions. The awards celebrated the diplomatic efforts of the Ambassadors of Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Oman, Palestine, and Qatar.
A significant outcome of this ceremony was the official launch of the Global Business Alliance (GBA), an initiative designed to further streamline and promote economic collaboration.
The 4th Edition in 2021, featured Chief Guests Farrukh Habib, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, and Senator Faisal Javed Khan. The event honored diplomats from the European Union, Iraq, Morocco, and Spain, acknowledging their work in strengthening bilateral ties.
In a nod to the importance of economic diplomacy, business leaders Ahmad Ikram Lone (Director of Lone Group and Company) and Yasir Rafique (CEO of Prime Paper Product) were also awarded for their contributions to Pakistan’s economy.
This edition was particularly notable for launching a major platform: Diplo TV, a dedicated channel for diplomatic content.

The Diplomatic Insight aims to facilitate and promote Business-to-Business (B2B), People-to-People (P2P), and Government-to-Government (G2G) collaborations across international trade, media, and policy research.
It seeks to become a converging point of business, diplomacy, and academia. Through its six entities – the Diplomatic Insight (TDI), the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPDS), Global News Pakistan (GNP), Belt and Road Consultants, Global Business Alliance (GBA), and Diplomatic Insight Publisher – it promotes public diplomacy, research, and international collaboration.
