Tashkent (TDI): A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the Center for State Environmental Expertise under Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change and the Republican Center for State Environmental Expertise, Training, Retraining, and Professional Development of Personnel under Belarus’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
The signing ceremony was attended by environmental specialists, government and public organization representatives, members of the Belarusian delegation, experts in the field, and media personnel.
This memorandum aims to foster scientific and practical collaboration in the field of ecology and enhance professional capabilities.
Key areas of cooperation include improving environmental assessments and state ecological expertise procedures, applying modern scientific methods, and facilitating knowledge exchange through joint seminars, training courses, and scientific forums.

The agreement also covers the introduction of digital databases, online analytical tools, and innovative techniques for environmental evaluation.
Both countries will collaborate on joint research projects aimed at ensuring ecological safety, and the development of environmental regulations, standards, and educational materials.

Additionally, they will work together in international initiatives related to ecological expertise and environmental protection.
