# US, Iran Scramble to Locate Missing Pilot After American Jet Downed

**Tehran (TDI):** Iranian and US forces are racing to locate a missing crew member after an American fighter jet went down inside Iran, as the war between the two sides continues to escalate.

Tehran claims it shot down a US F-15 aircraft, stating that the jet was destroyed by air defense systems operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
