# US Embassy congratulates youngest Pakistani Mountaineer to reach K2 Summit

Islamabad: July 27, 2021 – (TDI): The Embassy of the United States of America congratulated Pakistani mountaineer, *Shehroz Kashif* on reaching the K2 summit. Kashif is the youngest Pakistani to reach the K2 summit, at the mere age of 19 years old. He has broken the record of Sajid Ali Sadpara, who had previously made the record by reaching the K2 summit at the age of 21 years old.
