US Donates 1M Vaccines to Bangladesh

Washington DC 01 September 2021 (TDI): The USA donated additional 1 Million Pfizer vaccines to the people of Bangladesh.

US Department of State stated that the USA has already donated 5.5 million Moderna Vaccines to Bangladesh in the month of July. On Wednesday, US Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl R. Miller handed over the gift of 1 Million vaccines to the Bangladesh government. The combined donation to Bangladesh accounts for $6.5 Million for vaccine donation and above $96 Million for covid-19 assistance.
This vaccine donation is a part of the USA’s commitment under President Biden to lead the efforts against COVID-19 by giving out 500 Million Pfizer vaccine doses.
