Lahore (TDI): In a recent visit to the Ali Institute of Education (AIE), US Consul General Stetson Sanders highlighted the vital role of education in building lasting people-to-people connections between Pakistan and the United States.
The Ali Institute of Education, a leading teacher training institution in Pakistan, is at the forefront of educational innovation and capacity building.
During his visit, CG Sanders engaged with faculty and students to learn more about AIE’s pioneering efforts in teacher training, as well as its rapidly growing collaborations with American universities in emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information Technology (IT).

In a post on social media app X, the Consulate’s official account posted: “We’re proud to support and celebrate initiatives that bring Pakistani academia and U.S. scholars closer together.”

AIE’s recent expansion into AI and IT education reflects a broader commitment to equipping Pakistani students and teachers with the skills needed to thrive in the global knowledge economy.
With support from US partners, Ali Institute has launched several joint initiatives focused on research, curriculum development, and digital literacy.
