US Army Welcomed Afghan Evacuees

Texas, 3 September 2021 (TDI): US army welcomed 50,000 Afghan evacuees who left Afghanistan following the chaotic situation in Afghanistan at the end of August. A video was shared by the US Department of Defense on Thursday about the preparation of US military officials to welcome the evacuees.

The Fort Bliss Unit of the US army greeted and received 50,000 Afghan evacuees in Texas.
The Department of Defense of the United States of America assured that the Afghan evacuees will be given full necessary support including housing, transportation, medical assistance, and general support for transit in the USA.
Around 1,24,000 people have left Afghanistan following the extraordinary fall of the Afghan government and the takeover of the Taliban regime.
