Ukraine’s Foreign Minister calls President of 76th UNGA

Kyiv, 15 September 2021 (TDI): Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, talked on a phone call with the President of the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Abdulla Shahid.

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister expressed his desire to work with the President. He added that working and realizing each other’s goals would be fruitful. He also highlighted focusing on global goals as well.

Abdulla Shahid is serving as the Foreign Minister of Maldives. 14th September was the first day of the 76th General Assembly session. During his first interview as President, he stated that billions of people around the world are in desperate need of hope as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. He told UN News that the General Assembly is perfectly positioned to create that hope.
