Doha, 2 September 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Rehman Al-Thani meet the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Foreign and development affairs Dominic Raab who is currently on Qatar’s visit. Both officials reviewed the bilateral cooperation between both countries.
Moreover, the security issues and political development of Afghanistan were also the centers of discussion.
After the meeting, both Dignitaries visited the temporary housing facilities made for Afghan Refugees. They briefed about the different facilities that will be provided to Afghan refugees including housing, education, sports, food, and health facilities. The State Secretary of the UK appreciated the efforts made by Qatar for responding to humanitarian Crises in the international arena.
