Abu Dhabi, 19 October 2021 (TDI): Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, met with Ramon Martinez de LaGuardia, Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Panama.
On the margins of Expo 2020, the two exchange ideas on frameworks for strengthening economic ties and broadening partnership horizons in a variety of areas. They also discuss problems on their commercial agenda as well as investment development.
Currently happening in Dubai is Expo 2020, it is from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. Originally planned from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021, it was pushed back because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s Expo 2021 Dubai theme is Connecting Minds, Creating the Future. Sustainability, Opportunity, and Mobility are the sub-themes. The Sustainability section focuses on industries, financial capital, governance, employment, and education. Mobility will concentrate on bridging the gap between developed and underdeveloped regions that need administrative and technical assistance. Opportunity will concentrate on showcasing industries and businesses that adhere to the core concept and on identifying and exploiting new possibilities.
