WASHINGTON, (TDI): Former U.S. President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, has said that he would pursue legal action against Google if he wins the November 5 election.
He claimed the company consistently displays “bad stories” about him.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump did not provide any evidence to support his allegations.
He stated, “It has been determined that Google has illegally used a system to only reveal and display negative stories about Donald J. Trump, some fabricated for this purpose, while exclusively highlighting positive stories about” Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
“This is an illegal activity, and I hope the Justice Department will criminally prosecute them for this blatant election interference,” Trump added.
“If not, I will request their prosecution to the fullest extent of the law when I win the election and become president.”

Google has not yet responded to the Trump statement.
Trump made similar accusations against Google in 2019, alleging that the search engine favored negative news about him during the 2016 presidential election. Google dismissed those claims at the time.
