# Trump to Meet Middle East Leaders, Join Ukraine Talks at G7

**Washington (TDI):** US President Donald Trump is set to meet several Middle Eastern leaders and participate in a working session with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during next week’s G7 summit in France, senior US administration officials said on Saturday.

Trump is scheduled to arrive in Evian on Monday for the summit, where he will hold separate meetings with the leaders of Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, France and India.

US officials said no formal bilateral meeting between Trump and Zelensky has been arranged, although the two leaders could meet on the sidelines of the summit.

On Tuesday, Trump will join fellow G7 leaders and Zelensky for a working session focused on Ukraine, as Kyiv continues to seek military and financial support from its Western partners amid the ongoing conflict with Russia, according to media reports.

A senior US administration official said Russian battlefield gains had largely stalled in recent months, reiterating Washington’s desire to see the war brought to an end.

“We want the war to end as quickly as possible,” the official told reporters. Officials also confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would not participate in Trump’s scheduled meetings with Middle Eastern leaders during the summit.

The gathering will provide Trump with an opportunity to engage European leaders on a range of issues that have strained transatlantic relations since his return to the White House, including trade disputes, tariffs, NATO spending and the war in Ukraine.

According to administration officials, Trump intends to focus discussions on economic growth, supply-chain resilience, illegal migration and artificial intelligence. He is also expected to push for greater cooperation on securing supplies of critical minerals needed for advanced technologies.

Following the summit, Trump is scheduled to attend a dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palace of Versailles before returning to Washington.
